Catherine Luck

I am a Case Manager experienced in working with pre and post litigation cases.

I am also a Registered Physiotherapist with 30 years of clinical experience in a variety of health and social care settings. Having spent the first 6 years of my physiotherapy career working in areas such as neurology, medical and surgical, MSK, amputees, palliative care and women’s health, I moved into working in community rehabilitation.

This is where I developed my skills in working with a wide range of people from all backgrounds, in their own homes and communities, with conditions including complex care, falls, frailty, neurology, orthopaedics, supported hospital discharge and more. I am passionate about rehabilitation and experienced in helping clients and their families navigate complex health and social care systems to improve access to services.

Collaborative multidisciplinary team working is one of the cornerstones of good rehabilitation and care and I am confident in both participating in and leading multidisciplinary teams to work together towards achieving clients goals.

In my Case Manager role I have worked with clients living with a range of conditions including acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, learning disability and sensory impairment. Living with a long term condition can bring many challenges.

By taking a thorough and empathetic approach to finding out what matters to each of my clients, I strive to improve their quality of life by finding solutions to challenges that work best for them and their loved ones. I particularly enjoy organising trips abroad for some of my clients and am adept at care planning and risk management.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my young son and being beaten at chess by him!
