I’m a registered Operating Department Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in care, covering a variety of specialities.
Having worked in many different healthcare environments, including acute and elective areas, I’ve gained experience in communication and helping to plan intervention for a broad range of clients and service users.
Throughout this time my professional focus has always been on “best patient experience ”.
My work has involved me frequently meeting clients and building therapeutic relationships, often over a short period of time.
This has allowed me to practice a personalised method toward advocacy and care planning, and I pride myself on my individualised approach.
My positive attitude to my work is a forte and has led me to work well within a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively and concisely.
It also means I’m motivated to meet any challenges with a view to achieving the best possible result for the client.
I enjoy seeing the work I do have a positive outcome and will continue to work towards this goal for our clients.
