I am a qualified and registered Occupational Therapist who has experience of working with a wide range of clients, across a variety of health and social care settings.
My skills, knowledge and passion for rehabilitation have helped me to establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients living with complex care needs.
I have worked with patients in adult acute, child and adolescent and forensic mental health services, acquired brain injury and disabled children’s services.
During which time I have become competent with complex discharge planning and continuing care for those clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills have allowed me to develop effective and collaborative relationships with professionals in NHS, private and third sector agencies. I thrive in being part of a team and when faced with challenging clinical situations, I work objectively to reduce risk and obtain the best outcome for the client.
As a case manager I have worked with clients who live with enduring mental health conditions, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and cerebral palsy, part of which has included the recruitment and managing of care teams.
I pride myself on being client-centred and goal-orientated; aiming to secure effective results for clients and their families.
